Weekend highlights at work, i.e. "the food that I had time to take pictures of while running around the restaurant and may have even kept down." (Not pictured: random things like a raw scallop in soy sauce, bite of salmon, few pieces of calamari, spoonful of passionfruit mousse, too much diet Guarana.)
Saturday & Sunday snacks: more than a few of these (whole milk cafe au laits.)
Sunday lunch: grilled chicken breast, cabbage salad, few bites of rice.
Sunday dinner: amazing homemade chicken/fresh mozzarella ravioli in spicy pink sauce.
The chef gave me one to try on Saturday and it was SO good. Worth the anxiety of "holy shit I'm eating pasta" (even in residential tx. I never chose pasta.) No comparison to the frozen ravioli of my childhood. We had them as a special on Sunday and ended up with extra for staff dinner - I have a reputation for enthusiastically trying everything and the kitchen gets a kick out of giving me food (see: aforementioned raw scallop.)
